Own a Piece of a 20,000+ Sq. Ft. Cole Smith Masterpiece - Highland Park Deconstruction Sale — Estate Sale in Dallas, TX

About this sale

Completed in 2014, this 20,000+ sq. ft. three-story English Country Manor-style estate on more than an acre in prime Highland Park is the final residential masterpiece of legendary classicist Cole Smith. Every material was specified to historic, museum-quality standards, and Sherry Hayslip Interiors collaborated on the interiors. Every feature and finish was meticulously crafted. The architect and building team traveled to England to research and tour architecturally significant English estates for inspiration and to source materials. Millwork, doors, hardware, and lighting (with few exceptions) were designed and/or produced by Cole Smith. Whitesmith & Company, the firm he co-founded with Sherry Hayslip, produced most of the exceptional ironwork. These elements are not ordinary salvage; they are fine examples of the outstanding craftsmanship of one of America’s leading classicist architects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Sale will be conducted over multiple stages: Phase 1 of the sale includes most interior items and you will may immediately purchase and schedule removal. We understand there are too many items to view and consider in a single 2-day sale so Phase 1 of the sale is ongoing and will take place over two or more separate weekends as well as through subsequent scheduled appointments. Some items in the basement and 3rd floor mechanical areas will not be available for viewing, unless by appointment, and will be part of the second phase. There will be no "scheduled" reductions like a typical estate sale, so if you see it and think it's a fair price, buy it. There is no "50% off day". Phase 2 of the sale will be scheduled once we have a definitive demolition date and will include all mechanical and outdoor items Be sure to sign up to receive our emails if you are interested in our later Phase 1 and Phase 2 sales. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Phase 1: Immediate Purchase and Scheduled Removal Two-Story Great Room Custom Floor to Ceiling Walnut Paneling and Bookcases, Decorative Millwork and spectacular 24" Square White Oak Parquet de Versailles Flooring.
