Get Paid to Grow With Us: Inside the EstateSaleFinder Referral Program

Tell one estate sale company about EstateSaleFinder and earn $20 every single month they stay. Booth Max sellers pay $10 a month. Or take 30 free days of Pro instead — your call. Here's exactly how the money works, what you'd earn, and how to join in about two minutes.

Here's the short version: tell one estate sale company about EstateSaleFinder, and we'll pay you $20 a month for as long as they stay a paying member. Not once. Every month. Bring in a Booth Max seller instead and it's $10 a month, same deal. Or if cash isn't your thing, take 30 free days of Pro per referral and keep it simple.

That's the whole pitch. Now let's talk about why we're doing it — and what it could actually add up to for you.

An estate sale company owner at a sunlit kitchen table with a laptop, a notebook of numbers, and a small stack of cash beside brass candlesticks and blue-and-white china

We're growing, and we'd rather grow with you than at you

We'll be honest with you, the way we always try to be in our founders' letter: we are a small team trying to fix two big problems at once.

Problem one: shopping estate sales is harder than it should be. You shouldn't need five websites, a spreadsheet, and a sixth sense to find out whether anyone within 40 miles has the Pyrex pattern you've been hunting for two years.

Problem two: running an estate sale company is brutally hard, and most of the software aimed at these businesses is just a place to post a listing and hope.

We're building the fix for both. But here's the thing nobody tells you about building something for a tight-knit industry: the industry already trusts each other more than it will ever trust an ad. One estate sale company telling another "hey, this actually works" does more than any amount of money we could throw at Facebook.

So instead of throwing that money at Facebook, we decided to throw it at you.

The two ways to get rewarded

You pick. There's no wrong answer, and you can start with one and switch later.

Option 1 — Free months of Pro

Someone signs up with your link and becomes a paying member? You get 30 days of Pro, free. No paperwork, no tax forms, nothing to sign. It just lands in your account.

Perfect if you're already paying for Pro and you'd rather stack up free months than deal with anything resembling an invoice.

Option 2 — Cash, every single month

This is the new one, and it's the fun one.

Who you referWhat you earnHow often
Estate sale company on a $99+ plan$20Every month they keep paying
Booth Max seller$10Every month they keep paying

Same $20 whether they're on the $99, $149, or $199 plan. We're not going to make you memorize a rate card.

The word doing the heavy lifting in that table is recurring. This isn't a one-time thank-you. As long as the company you referred is paying, you're getting paid, month after month, with nothing more for you to do.

Okay, but what does that actually add up to?

Let's do the math out loud, because this is the part that surprises people. Say you refer estate sale companies on $99+ plans at $20 a month each:

Companies you've referredPer monthPer year (if they all stay)
    1$20$240
    3$60$720
    5$100$1,200
    10$200$2,400
    25$500$6,000

And because it stacks, month twelve looks nothing like month one:

Referring one company per month, $20 each

    Month 1$20
    Month 2$40
    Month 3$60
    Month 6$120
    Month 9$180
    Month 12$240 a month

Fair warning, and we mean it

These numbers illustrate the math, not a promise. Real earnings depend entirely on how many companies you refer and how long they stay. Some will cancel. Some will stay for years. We're not going to pretend we can predict which.

Two estate sale professionals shaking hands and laughing outside a home during sale setup, folding tables of vintage glassware and lamps behind them in golden light

Who can do this? Basically anyone with an account

You don't have to run an estate sale company. You don't need a following. You need an EstateSaleFinder account and someone to tell.

The people who tend to do really well with this:

    • Estate sale company owners who know every other operator in their metro
    • IESP students and course grads whose classmates are all starting companies at the same time
    • Resellers and pickers who work half the sales in their county and know who runs them
    • Antique mall booth dealers whose mall is full of other dealers
    • Auctioneers, cleanout crews, senior move managers, and realtors who refer families to estate sale companies all week long

If you're already the person people ask "hey, who should I use for this?" — you're already doing the work. You might as well get paid for it.

Exactly how it works, start to finish

No mystery boxes. Here's every step.

    1. Open Referrals & Earnings in your dashboard, and pick free months or cash.
    2. If you pick cash, sign the short agreement. Plain English, versioned, and you can read it before you sign. You also tell us how you'd like to be paid — Zelle or a mailed check.
    3. Share your link. Every click is tracked and attributed to you for 90 days, so the person you told last month still counts when they finally sign up.
    4. They start a trial. Nothing accrues yet — trials are free, and we only pay on real revenue.
    5. They convert to a paying plan. Now the meter starts. $20 (or $10 for Booth Max) posts to your dashboard.
    6. It posts again next month. And the next. Automatically, for as long as they keep paying.
    7. We pay you once your unpaid balance reaches $20. Under $20 just rolls over to next month — nothing is ever lost or expired.
    8. Add your tax details in the dashboard before your first payment. Required, takes a minute, and if you cross $600 in a calendar year we'll issue you a 1099-NEC like any legitimate business would.

Transparency, because this is money and money deserves receipts

We're a little obsessive about this part. Your Referrals & Earnings dashboard shows you:

    • Every person who clicked your link and every one who signed up
    • Whether each referred account is still an active paying member — because that's what your monthly $20 depends on
    • Every month's earning line, itemized, with dates
    • Your unpaid balance, your lifetime total, and every past payout
    • Your year-to-date total against the $600 1099 threshold
A phone held over an antique wooden desk showing a simple earnings chart, beside a vintage clock, a pocket watch on a brass tray, and old leather books

    The honest fine print

Every referral program has rules. Most of them hide them. Here are ours, in the open:

    • No self-referrals. You can't refer your own second account, your own company, or accounts you control.
    • First click wins. If two people referred the same company, the earlier attributed click gets it. We don't pay twice for the same account.
    • Trials don't pay. Accrual starts when they become a paying member.
    • Refunds and chargebacks get clawed back. If a month gets refunded, that month's earning reverses. You'll see it in your dashboard, labeled, not silently deleted.
    • Cancellations stop future months. If a company you referred leaves, you keep everything already earned; the monthly amount simply stops.
    • No spam. Ever. Buying ads on our brand name, mass unsolicited email, fake accounts, or misrepresenting what we do gets you removed from the program. We're trying to grow a reputation, not burn one.
    • Rates are grandfathered. If we ever change the rates, referrals you already brought in keep the rate they were signed up under.
    • Payments are manual and tracked in-app, so both of us can see the same numbers at the same time.

Full details live in the referral agreement and our Terms of Service.

Why we think you'll actually be proud to share this

Look — we wouldn't ask you to put your name on something mediocre.

When you send an estate sale company our way, they get Ai item pricing built from real sold data, a full client CRM and pipeline, a pre-sale walkthrough that tells them whether a job is worth signing before they sign it, a marketing report tailored to their actual inventory, and a social media studio that turns one photo into a week of posts. They keep 0% commission — we never take a cut of their sales. And they get in front of a whole new generation of buyers who search by keyword and get wishlist alerts instead of scrolling through a thousand photos of coffee mugs.

If you want the long version of why companies switch, we wrote that up too.

And when you tell a shopper about us, they get the thing we all wanted in the first place: an actual map of the good sales, searchable down to the item.

    Come build this with us

Every good thing starts with a small group of people who showed up early and told a friend. That's genuinely where we are right now — sales going up city by city, companies joining every week, and a map that gets fuller every single day because of people like you.

We want the estate sale industry to be easier to shop and easier to run. We can't do that from a desk in three states by ourselves. So this is our way of saying: help us, and we'll cut you in.

Open Referrals & Earnings and grab your link. It takes about two minutes, and the first $20 is closer than you think.

    Questions & answers

    Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the EstateSaleFinder referral program pay?

$20 a month for every referred estate sale company on a qualifying $99+ plan, and $10 a month for every referred Booth Max seller — paid every month they stay a paying member. You can choose 30 free days of Pro per referral instead of cash.

Is the referral payment one-time or recurring?

Recurring. As long as the account you referred keeps paying, the monthly amount keeps posting to your dashboard. There's nothing extra you need to do after the referral.

    When do I get paid?

Once your unpaid balance reaches $20. Anything under $20 rolls over to the following month, so small balances are never lost. Payouts go out by Zelle or mailed check, whichever you chose.

Do I need to be an estate sale company to join?

No. Any EstateSaleFinder account holder can join. Resellers, booth dealers, auctioneers, realtors, senior move managers, and course students all qualify.

Do I have to give tax information?

Yes, before your first payment. It's collected right in the dashboard. If your earnings cross $600 in a calendar year, we issue a 1099-NEC.

What happens if someone I referred cancels?

You keep everything you already earned, and future monthly amounts for that account stop. If a month gets refunded or charged back, that specific month reverses and is shown clearly in your dashboard.

    Does a free trial count?

Not yet — accrual begins when the referred account converts to a paying plan. Trials are free, so there's no revenue to share until then.

Stop Turning Down Estate Sales: Every “Impossible” Sale Early Offers Unlocks

You get about 20 hours to sell an entire household, and you're hoping the one buyer who wants the dining set happens to be free on Saturday morning. That's why the gated community, the 55+ village, the storage unit, and the staged listing where the agent won't allow foot traffic all get turned down. Early Offers takes the crowd out of the equation: buyers browse your tagged items, make offers, and pay before opening day, then collect in scheduled pickup windows you control.
